Dr. John Clayton received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science at James Madison University and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University College of Chiropractic. He obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians after receiving training specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports. Dr. Clayton is also a provider for the Ironman Triathlon Series for Active Release Techniques, a treatment effectively used by athletes at all levels for injuries and other soft tissue disorders. This knowledge has assisted him in more effectively treating numerous athletes of all different levels including recreational athletes, Ironman triathletes, former Olympians, and many intercollegiate athletes. Learning the benefit chiropractic care has on overall health and wellness led Dr. Clayton to become a fellow of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association which increased his knowledge on caring for children and women who are pregnant.
